We stayed for 3 nights in an ocean view pool villa. In fact we had villa 201 which is walking distance to the restaurant, beach and spa. We had stayed in Patong for 6 nights and were notified about the hotel renovations there but did not realise that Trisara would have them too. I now realise that if you go to Phuket in the low season there are likely to be some sort of renovations so take note. We could hear a bit of noise but not too much as they are replacing the deck between the restaurants. The room is amazing, even better than the pictures.

We enjoyed the private dining options in our room and had the BBQ which was delicious although I had an apple tart that had a lot of rosemary on it. At lunch time the food was delivered and they mentioned that they would be back in 1 hour to collect the dishes. This did not happen. On one day the dishes were collected at turn down service, on the other we called to ask for them to be removed after our spa appointment as a large black bird was attacking the remaining food.

We treated ourselves to the Royal Trisara Massage which was good but I have had massages all over the world and would probably give this a 7/10. It was good but I don't think it is worth the money. I think a 4 hand massage is sufficient in future or go to Laguna for better value.

Overall I think the resort is amazing and perhaps has a few small issues in the low season.
